The Four P's of Selecting a Tailgating Grill

If you plan to do much tailgating in the upcoming baseball season or the next football season, get the grill right rear door is a second important step (after shelling out for tickets). There are some simple guidelines to consider while searching for the right grill.

Portability - absolutely key to choosing the right grill. You do not want to deal with transportation mess around, installing it, taking it down, or storage. There are plenty of great grills that take all the pain of that. Go with a grill that folds it carefully and can be secured in the trunk or back of your car. You will even find the shelves in the back door such as tailgating grill Margaritaville that are designed to bind to a stretch of the rear door.

Propane, charcoal, or electric - you have a few different options for the heat source. Most portable grills you will find better performance in propane. Many of the best grills give you the option of the smaller cylinder propane tank or 20 pounds, depending on how often you use it. Probably a good idea to start here with the cylinder and test it out from there.

Sheer size - acceptable, it had to Shoehorn in there. Size matters. Consider for how many you expect fellow tailgaters grilling and look for a portable grill that can accommodate your needs. You do not want hunched over a tiny grill trying to feed 20 of her favorite fans. Do the math.

Platee heat consistency - some low-end grills do not provide good consistency of heat and can burn hotter outside than inside doing. You are not looking to leave the parking lot and to feed their cronies to unnecessarily high levels of difficulty. Do the smart thing and invest in a grill offering good heat distribution. For this, you will want to check grades on the grid and user reviews to better understand what other customers have experienced.

Each will have their personal preferences on what they can offer the best grill for tailgate, but followed these simple guidelines and you will find the right grill for you.
